Really nice! I like the reverb, although it might be much for the intro

Joe,
You have a great sense of composition and respect for every note, and it makes for some might fine acoustic guitar playing. And you have the recording aspect down cold, tons of presence!! Well done my friend!!!

Beautiful Joe.
I like the way you arrange stuff! All about supporting the melody and then inject that great feel you have - great stuff altogether Steve

I plan to arrange a bunch of Irish songs in the months to come. Most of it is still unknown to me so it'll be a great adventure. |

Thanks Andy!

Tough to say "how much" reverb was used though... There's a number of settings, some more "extreme" than others. Quote:
Thanks Bob! I hope to improve my version soon... |

Always appreciated coming from a discerning old timer Martin lover like you... The guitar is mic'ed pretty close, nearly overdriven. It gives me less room for nuances but I get richer tones by playing very softly. |

Honestly, this wasn't my best but I'm going to work on it. Do you play a version of this yourself? I'd love to hear how you'd play this. |

Gorgeous! That Kraut sounds amazing and your playing is very emotive. Got a tab by chance?

The tab is still in my head for now... This was just a mock-up. I'll be re-working this. |

This sounds beautiful! Your playing is wonderful to the ear. I like your version of the song a lot, I like the style of it. I hope to hear some more from you!

i particularly liked the part just before the end. a tad heavy on the reverb, so i couldn't really hear the guitar well, but very nice.
