Just want to say Scott is an awesome guy and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Just a stand up dude.
Just bought an absolutely beautiful Martin D28 from him. Everything was just as he said, great communication, made it super easy, and is very reliable. Will definitely be checking out what he has in stock next time I’m in the market. |

What’s in a Collings CW?
If you are unaware...
This model is Collings’ take on a Clarence White aka CW MODEL. The specs are identical to the original CW guitar. This also has the enlarged soundhole. The Dalmatian pick guard etc. The SCGC Tony Rice is also of the same specs. It was Tony Rice who procured the original CW and declared it the best guitar ever. He still plays it. Martin has the rights to the Clarence White model name. I’ve had several Tony Rice guitar’s including the TR PRO. A couple of the Clarence White’s. All great guitar’s. I’ve never had this Collings version befor however. I know at one time I would say that Collings made a better Martin than Martin. However, Martin has stepped up its game with many custom shop builds lately. I’ll bet this CW rocks.

Yes, this is based on the Clarence White guitar and is a boss. It is now referred to as “The Collings Winfield.” The Collings’ quality, fit and finish is superb!
