Talking 1996 MARTIN 00028GE. “RARE FIND”

Boy, I really don’t want to list this but a blown Ford Engine has demanded attention! If you’ve been looking for one of these “Rare Finds” look no further as this is exceptionally clean for a 24 year old Martin! I’ve had 4 of these, still my favorite model but have had no luck selling the Clapton 00028M so here goes!
Have plenty of pics,, just email and I guarantee... you won’t be disappointed! Price is $2900, buyer to pay shipping and any fees.
Domestic shipping only. A few thoughts & specs below....

Lush, full-sounding Martin 000-28 Golden Era from 1996 in excellent condition. Originally a limited edition the 28 GE's were one of Martin's first forays into building a more "authentic" style guitar. They definitely did not disappoint. Even after Martin decided to include this model in their stock offering (as a 000-28VS), the GE's stood out as something special. This particular one lives up to the hype.
It has a pronounced warm, round and full bass after 20 years. The trebles are crisp and ring like vintage bells. The volume is superior for its size. This one has a great, comfortable set up and is very easy to play. The limited edition models keep their value over many other models, and this one is worth having if you’re a 12-Fret fan.The neck is 1 13/16” at the nut and is a long scale instrument. It’s the ultimate 12-Fret from Martin. Fossil ivory nut and saddle with a pyramid bridge. Forward shifted 5/16” scalloped X-Bracing (1” from soundhole) with 1/4” scalloped tone bars (historically accurate). Linen side reinforcements and over the X-Brace. Label signed by C.F. Martin IV and individually numbered. Edition size was limited to 367

Uh...exceptional condition, 000-28GE, for $2900?! No affiliation whatsoever, but this is a ridiculously "reasonable" price for one of these. I have owned one for 15 years, and it remains one of the top five sounding Martins of the over 200 i have bought/sold/owned over the years. Would not sell mine for less than $3500. Never mind--would not sell mine at all! GLWS.
