Default Bluetooth computer speakers

We're remodeling a few rooms in our house and my beloved computer/guitar room is one of them. I'd like to get rid of a lot of these wires by going wireless. I'm budgeting up to $100 for a set of bluetooth speakers. Any recommendations?

I'm currently using a wired Logitech 5.1 system that is starting to cough and sputter a bit....

Check out this website: http://switcher.oluvsgadgets.net/

Great for comparing the actual sounds of the speakers for yourself (be sure to wear headphones for the comparisons). I used the site to systematically narrow down my choices.

FWIW- I thought the best bang for the buck speaker close to $100 was the Riva Turbo X. I ended up buying a Harmon Kardon go + play which is considerably more, but a truly amazing bluetooth speaker system.

The Bose Soundlink II is a nice little unit for routine use. If you want bass, $100 isn't going to do it. I ended up with a JBL Xtreme, which was more like $300.

Hey TB,

These are 50 dollars over your budget, but I think they sound better than any other suggested so far.

https://www.amazon.com/Edifier-R1700...speakers&psc=1

We have a pair in the living room, used with Alexa, BT turntable and our phones.

I have the Harman Kardan Onyx and like it a lot. It's also quite portable.
