I have had two Aussie mixes. Jasmine, my first, I got the week I closed escrow on my first home. A great lady I worked with for 7 years said her cousin's dog just early weened (3.5 weeks) her litter and I got second choice. I drove over at lunch and picked the multi colored rolling and tumbling around fast pup.
But then when I went back after work I decided to give the litter another look. I watched them for 45 minutes from 30' away. I ended up loving this sensitive, meek, multicolored, blue merle girl instead of the aggressive brother.

Tippy was my second mixed Aussie. A shelter score and a superb running mate.

25 years of high energy dogs makes me tired just thinking about that : )
They were both so fine!

Now I am 62 and my knee hurts so I might get an older, slower dog soon. I played with various dogs today at the legal off leash dog beach.
