That's a good women!!!!! Could you please have her call my wife and explain that we guitar players have this unquenchable thirst for guitars........On second thought that may not work out well......You gotta good thing going and no need to risk it on my part.

I recently placed a special order for an Emerald X20-12(string). The "special" part of the order is it won't have electronics and the finish will be satin...

I don’t understand where these understanding guitar wives come from. Mine must defective or something. Is there any way to re-program them?

My collection is dreadnought heavy, except for an all-hog Martin 000-15M.

The next would a smaller Martin EIR & Stika standard series ... 000, 0000, or OM.

Maybe.

Maybe what I need is to practice a tune for a month or so first before recording and then see if I'm achieving the desired tone from my fingers and the guitar instead of wishing about tone woods. We'll see.
Furch. Do it. Such nice guitars!

Too many to list are wanted.
Always got my eyes open for a Guild Gad50. Ill grab that in a sec if one pops for sale locally.

Really want to try out a Martin 000E. Black Walnut back and sides. Dont know if I want it but want to try it. Closest one is 10 hours away.

Christmas I am gonna buy myself an all Mahogany but I dont know which one yet.

But my next purchase will be a OM-28 Ambertone. Went back and forth between a 000-28 and a OM-28 for a long time but finally made the drive to a shop that had both in stock 2 hours away. Tried them both the the OM won me over. Plus he gave me an awesome price (shoot out to Kings Music in Abbotsford). Soon as my HD28V sells I will pull the trigger.

It was very inexpensive for me, but I love it severely!

Yeah, they’re great. Almost bought one recently, but it didn’t work out. The shipment never ended up coming from Furch due to a Covid supply problem etc...I was pretty disappointed...

Another Santa Cruz dread...the EIR cousin to my Adi/Hog 1934D, or possibly a Tony Rice Pro. It has to have a 1 3/4 nut though, and most unfortunately are made with 1 11/16. However, if I can find it (and I have a good lead right now), it will likely be my very last purchase because the 1934D is hands down the best guitar I’ve ever owned.

Next for me is either a Taylor 717e or a Furch Vintage 3 OM. I will eventually own both.

Not sure. I geared up last year this time with three Cole Clarks for gigging. Then added a Martin Custom D-1 all-hog 12-fret dread in December, which I adore. Then came COVID so now we're not gigging and I honestly don't know when we'll start up again. I've always been 'heavy' one Cole Clark so I'll be selling one of those fairly soon. But I'll probably sit on the other two with the assumption that at some point we'll start back up gigging.

That said, I can think of three guitars that I could see grabbing:

The Martin Custom 000-18GE I sold. The only one I've regretted selling and I'd buy it back in a heartbeat. The guy I sold it to knows I get first shot but it sounds like he's still pretty happy.

I miss having the bulletproof of a carbon fiber guitar and I love the newly redesigned Emerald X20 so if the right one popped up used I might jump on that.

Last, I wouldn't mind a small body all-hog Martin, maybe something vintage. One popped up here a year ago I wish I'd pulled the trigger on so if I see something like that again then maybe something like that.
