Default Help with chord transitions in song...

I have a song I’ve been working on and I’m kind of stuck. I have all the sections to the song but I need a fluid transition in two parts. The progression is:
Am, C, Am, Dm, Em, then a segment with C#m and rundown in the A major scale any suggestions on transitioning into the C#m then the A major section…or possibly visa versa A major scale then C#m? One would be great both would better the possibilities.
Any tips, suggestions, or music theory bashing is welcome
Thanks in advance
Kevin
