Can’t figure out where to go with this. (Original music content)
I started recording this nearly two years ago and I got a bit ambitious with it thanks to my progressive rock/metal influences. There’s a reason why I named this song “Never Done”. I know I can make two or 3 songs out of this, or just make it a 10+ minute long epic. Currently at over 6 minutes and it’s extremely rough around the edges especially on the later part where my timing is a bit off and I just get lost and have no clue where to go. Any suggestions?
For those curious about recording gear, I used iOS apps Bias, JamUp, and GarageBand for the DAW and drums and mixing, iRig HD guitar interface. https://soundcloud.com/1neeto/never-done-update |

Any number of things for more variety, for example how about after playing your Dsus thing for a while do some chord progression patterns such as
Code:
3 3 1 x x x x 3 3 3 3 1 x 3 4 3 2 2 0 2 2 5 5 0 0 2 2 0 x x x x x 0 x x x x x x x x
