I hear it. Less open and less air. That’s what I hear on my guitars too and this is just listening through my phone. It’s worse in person.

No, I used the same saddle so without the element the action was pretty low but still buzz-free.

Thanks. That would (possibly) suggest that the element has the same negative effect on volume that a lowered saddle does.
