Ross;
What email address did you use? I just went on line and did not see an available email contact. I want to ask about the time frame. Joe said "in the near future." At 77 years of age, "the near future" can mean a number of things. |

Evan,
I merely filled out the "contact" form on the BlackBird website. The reply came from someone called Tyler. I doubt my message reached Joe. For me, seemed like a dead end. I'll still keep an eye out for a used Rider but not holding my breath. |

Thank you Ross. I don't know if it's my computer or what but I when I hit the contact button the form does not appear???? I should just call--I've always enjoyed talking with Joe. He is, in my book, a kind of guitar Philosopher/King--he thinks and acts at a high level and is also a decent person.

Evan,
I don't doubt it. If you get through to him, please report back. (And maybe ask if he's got a spare Rider knocking around his workshop for me .) Thanks again for your advice. More soon, I hope. |
