Took a shot at an arrangement by ear (more or less) - Christmas content
Here's a GuitarPro exported wav file from an arrangement I did of The First Noel from the Boccherini Christmas Guitar Quartet CD. (GuitarPro's harmonics don't sound that great though.) I "cheated" once in a while and used my phone app tuner to find a note or two,
This is not a note for note arrangement. I cut a few repetitive parts out to keep it to around 2 minutes also. I'm not done tweaking this yet though. There's a few spots where it needs a bit more bass or arpeggio/filler notes. Maybe I'll have it recorded by Christmas. There's a few more on this album I'd like to take a stab at too. The GP is at 76 bpm, but I think I'll push it up a bit in reality. I used Transcribe! to do this btw (at 70%). This software is growing on me. I use it frequently to play along at slower paces to learn a tune or two. Mine: The orginal:
