It actually works, especially on things you're going to keep "limited" anyway.

I passed on a Shephard guitar once, and Danny (at APM) said that the guitar was worth more now than his current price, and that he was going to re-shoot the pictures and post it at a higher price, and that this would help it sell. Too low of a price made people think there had to be something wrong with it, according to him.

It works because you are limiting the supply. Raising the price alone did not increase the demand since the demand was present...at least it was in 2005.

What did you think of the video? Was this your first time to hear what Chris explanation of the model and price were?
