luv them hogs--the up side is strings are pretty inexpensive. as Howard put it
string em up, play em for a week or so & see what ya find.
i do know ive not been impressed with earnie ball bronzes.

It is a mahogany body with sitka top.

I've been messin with D'Addario EJ16's lately on my GAD-25 which is all solid Mahogany, and I like the way they sound.

I think long skinny strings are best.
Beyond that, it is really up to your ears to decide.

Interesting usually use PB but did 80/20's and it was harsh for the first day, almost took them off. A couple of days latter I thinking it brightens up the more mellow mahogany. Strings give you a flavor of the day.

I've been using EJ16 D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings for years.
I like them on my Martin (rosewood) as well as my Taylor (mahogany).
