This is a 1980 Modified Dreadnought in East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce. Tone wise this guitar has the full pedigree, plus three decades of play time run through it. It is warm and rich with that classic bass Ervin is so well known for. This guitar is a great piece of Luthiery history, the serial number is 62, and the label is from the Berkely shop. This is a rare guitar just waiting for someone to love it for another 34 years!

This is the oldest Somogyi I have ever played as well. It feels like you are holding a piece of history. The tone is great for fingerpicking, even flatpicking sounds nice on this one.
