Yup, nailed it! As said previously, there is a time and place for a "your own way" cover and then there's the faithful reproduction. This absolutely slayed the latter. Good on you to stick it out.

Loved that - very good! Good sound on the guitar, too.
I have played that since the 70's but could never sing it unless I sang it an octave lower, never thought about tuning my guitar down. LOL!
