How I Record Acoustic Guitars

That was enlightening, thanks. Somehow we get the impression that a lot of “stuff “ is needed to make a great recording. I’ve just started dabbling in recording, picked up some modest second-hand mic’s, a duet, plugged it into my Mac with GarageBand, and it sounds pretty good. I am definitely the weak link.
I was wondering, considering your set up, is there much of an advantage using Logic vs GarageBand?

I am used to Logic and some of the projects I do outside of the Acoustic Guitar sphere demand more functionality. As I understand it though, there’s nothing whatsoever wrong with Garage Band
