Thank you for sharing, I am a fan of DH but prefer his 000-18 tone over both his Collings and this Waterloo! But he will sound stellar on anything, his technique is a balm to my soul.

I believe it’s a 50’s 00-18. He seems pretty attached to this guitar.

Probably, you are correct. I knew it was vintage but was under impression it was 000 size.

It is definitely a mid-50's 00-18. I participate in David's Fingerstyle Five membership and he has answered questions about it a number of times.

Here's a bit of a lesson he did on chord substitutions on St. James Infirmary. Gives you an idea of his teaching style, which is a style that speaks to my style of learning.
