Excellent condition with 1 3/4” neck with 24.9” short scale for easy playability. Spruce/Sapele, gloss top, satin back and sides. I don’t really see any nicks or marks on it and there is virtually no fret wear. Comes with the OHSC which is clean as a whistle but one of the 5 latches doesn't clasp tightly. The other 4 latches work fine so I just left the fifth one off and keep it in the case.
$1000 shipped to CONUSA Fedex Ground. Not really looking for trades at this time. It will ship in a proper guitar box and I pack well using Stew Mac’s inflatable top hat and end cap. Check out the pics and feel free to ask any and all questions. More photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fPFSm6yDzq5vQVvX8 Thanks. Rob

This guitar was in a collection Taylor called the "Acoustic Line". The original idea was to make all their models of guitar, but without the option for electronics, no cutaway and fewer aesthetic appointments (less bling).
The idea was that you get all the value of a Taylor guitar without spending on unnecessary stuff. After a while, they caved in and started offering cutaway options, then pickup options and the line between offerings blurred. So, they discontinued these. Now, a very interesting point: I think there is much more profit made in the "bling" - aesthetic things carry a high profit margin. So, these guitars were, quite literally, too good of a deal! I believe these are the best bang for the buck Taylor guitars ever made. I have a Grand Concert (like this one but a GC7) and it is my favorite guitar of all time. I also have a 3-series (like this one but a GA3-12) and the wood combination is fantastic. For anyone who is considering a small bodied, intimate guitar, this is the best Taylor option. (I don't even know the seller and have no affiliation - this is my unrelated endorsement for a great guitar) GLWTS

Great insight Fazool and I agree! I'm only selling because I get on better with 1 11/16" necks.
Happy New Year bump! Rob

Following the thread with interest. I too have a 2012 GC-3, but mine has the ES-1.3 pickup (no cutaway). Totally agree with Fazool about it being a best-value Taylor model. The only reason I’d sell? Gear lust for a 000-18. But really, imho... this little Taylor is as useful as a Swiss Army knife.
