Here's the crazy thing, though, y'all ~ as much as I dug that DC18, I can't help but think that part of the reason was that I just wasn't digging any of the other guits I was trying out. You know what I mean? That, by comparison with whatever else was in the room, that was the only one that wasn't a big disappointment.
That's not to take anything away from that Martin ~ it's a fine guitar and I really did like it. But I also went home to my Yairi with it's laminate back & sides that I paid $500 cash for back in 1997 and really, REALLY liked it. I don't know, y'all. I got problems.
