What are the best ad blocker apps for iPhones and iPads?

I’ve got an ad blocker program on my desktop computer, and boy is it nice. I’d like to get something similar for my iPhone and iPad, but don’t know which to get. I’d like to get one that works effectively but doesn’t suck up too much power and memory. So I thought I’d ask you all and read your recommendations. It doesn’t have to be a free app, I’m willing to pay a reasonable amount, I just want something simple and effective.

I’ve used Purify on iPhone & iPad for a long time. It seems to work very well, has no issues and it’s free.

I’ve been happy with Adblock, but I’m no technical whiz. I recently read an article on blockers questioning what countries they’re based in, and suggested that might be a security concern. The article pointed out that many of the app sellers try hard to keep this secret. Unfortunately I can’t remember where I saw this article.
