Default Guitars in stock - June 2019

Sponsors (luthiers/builders/manufacturers), what guitars do you currently have in stock for sale or available from a dealer?

(Note: Sponsors only, please. I'll unstick this thread every month and start a new one to keep things fresh.)

This year we have seen some absolutely beautiful instruments come into the showroom in all shapes and sizes, especially on the pre owned / consignment market, and this 2010 GC model from South African master luthier Marc Maingard has to be one of the finest! Default Stephen Strahm - EROS 'Black Stallion' African Blackwood / Alpine Moon Spruce

Stephen Strahm - EROS 'Black Stallion' African Blackwood / Alpine Moon Spruce - Pre-Owned - £10,250.00

Playing guitars like this stunning Stephen Strahm EROS in Master Grade African Blackwood and Alpine Moon Spruce is the reason why we do what do here at The North American Guitar, it is quite simply outrageous! Santa Cruz, California based luthier Stephan Strahm is fast becoming one of the most sort after luthiers in the world delivering guitars that consistently take your breath away.
His lines and attention for detail are unique and breathtakingly beautiful, whilst each guitar's voice has a ’Strahm’ signature tone that can be recognised from any corner of the room, this 'Black Stallion' EROS is something else! Rich and full in the mids and highs but with a smooth and sophisticated low-end bass response. A truly versatile instrument excelling at fingerstyle and drop / alternate tunings.
This beautiful EROS was built and delivered in 2018 to a client in the US and thankfully has made its way across the pond to us here in London. It is in impeccable condition.

Default Bown Parlour 'John Renbourn' - Indian Rosewood & Sitka Spruce

Bown Parlour 'John Renbourn' - Indian Rosewood & Sitka Spruce - Pre-Owned -
£10,550.00

It is always a rather humbling day when a client arrives at The North American Guitar showroom with any handcrafted instrument for us to sell on consignment for them, but when a client arrives with one of our hero's (John Renbourn) actual guitar from one of our favourite UK luthier's (Ralph Bown), we stop what we are doing, close the doors and get ready to play some guitar! This Bown parlour has magic inside it and will bring tears to the heart of any man (or woman).

Built in a staggering and rarely figured Indian Rosewood for the back and sides and a snappy Sitka Spruce for the top, it is light comfortable and an absolute joy to play. Originally built for Jim Murray of the Hokum Hotshots.

Enjoy!
