I know some things in life are difficult. But I know you will do what's right. I'm going to give it plenty of love for sure!

Ha, Don't even joke. You are joking, right

It must be hard to let go of such a fine piece of work, one you put your hart and soul into. And you have to do it with every build.

And yes, my remark was a wee joke for Dennis to let him know how I thought of his guitar. But all humor has an element of truth in it. Of late, our clients have been "outside the box" thinkers/designers, and this has pushed us into areas undreamed of. The collaboration becomes super rewarding as things begin to take shape that would never have crossed our minds. This does produce a twinge of regret when they get shipped off, but they are built to please, so off to their task!

Dennis, oh my goodness . This guitar is TRULY a work of art. Kudos BIGTIME to Steve and Ryan for pulling this off in such elegant style. I can't find anything I would have done differently, and in fact I continue to be amazed at how all of the elements come together...this looks like a lifetime of "beautiful guitar notes" assembled into one gorgeous and complete instrument.

I only have one question...are you REALLY going to play that guitar ??

Not much to add that has not already been said.

This has been an epic thread showing the art and love that goes into producing an epic guitar!

Couldn't be happier for you, Dennis, and really look forward to seeing it in your hands!

Kudos to all involved...

Default Tone, tone, tone ....

Steve and Ryan were gracious enough to make some audio clips of my new OM. Tone is Kinnaird thru and thru. Lush and balanced.

Coming my way next week. Kinnairdly wait!

Very nice, Dennis. I listened to the clips first thing in the morning and could practically feel what it would be like to play. It certainly has a good bit of resonance already in its young life as a guitar. They say a new guitar's voice changes drastically in the first few hours of play. I could tell it's been played a lot lately and has already opened up some! I can also tell however that those mids are going to get even warmer with more bloom over time, giving that guitar as much warmth to its tone as the color palette gives to its looks. I'm excited for you! I can't wait to hear it a recording of it several months down the road in your own hands!
