Congratulations on the purchase of the Shure MV88+ mic. A friend of my in a “Youtuber“ and that is what she has been using with iMovie on the latest iPhone and gets very good results.
Keeping it simple especially when starting out is key. I bought a Zoom H2n 4 years ago and it is all I still use. Have fun recording with your daughter, that sounds like it will be so rewarding and I am jealous
