Arrow 2018 Bayard Blain Custom 000 - **3rd Price Drop**

Well, with great reluctance I am putting this one on the market. I commissioned this one with Bayard back in 2017 and was completed in 2018. I have attached the build thread as well. More of a Concerto size than a 000 but it's what he called it. It's simply a beautiful and lovely sounding instrument. It features torrified adirondack top with figured mahogany back and sides. Satin finish. Ziricote fretboard, bridge, heal cap and headstock overlay. I upgraded the Schaller open back tuners from chrome to gold.

Specs most will be interested in knowing:
Nut width 1-3/4”
Bridge string spacing 2-1/4"
Lower bout width 15-5/8"
Tail block depth 4-3/4"
Scale length 25-1/2"
Mint Ameritage Case

12th fret action is 0.090” at E and 0.070” at e.

Asking $3,000 $2,800 $2,650 $2,500 net to me shipped CONUS. Trade value $2,700. Prefer a heavy cash add.

Sound samples available. Email [email protected]

Here’s a YouTube video of a Bayard with similar tone woods. I think the old mahogany and torrified Adirondack makes mine sound a little richer and with a touch more projection.

It's funny you say that.....the exact words I told Bayard I wanted for finishes......understated elegance, he nailed it.

This is going to be tough to do. May end up selling the Doerr Legacy instead. Lol

It is pretty special Jeff, thank you. It’s not easy but I’ve got to pay towards my Doerr. I guess if this doesn’t work I’ll just sell the Doerr.

Since this builder is not widely known I will offer a 48 hour evaluation period. Buyer pays return shipping and depending on payment method PayPal fees.
