Default 2014 Waterloo WL-14 LTR SOLD

2014 Waterloo WL-14 LTR, ladder braced with adjustable truss rod. Mahogany back & sides, spruce top. 1 & 3/4" nut width, 2 & 3/8" spacing at saddle. 1/8" saddle protruding above bridge. 12th fret action approx 7/64". No scratches or dings to speak of. I had the guitar refretted with Dunlop 6100 (largest wire available) shortly after purchasing it new in Jan.2014. It is basically in unused condition. I replaced the 3-on-a-strip tuners with Gotoh open backs, but I still have the originals (with black buttons). This is the FIRST generation of the model: It has a very large neck, although not as big as my other guitars. I WILL NOT SHIP. THIS IS ONLY FOR LOCAL PICKUP. Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask. If you’d like to hear it please check out the video below.

$1600.00

Default Video bump

Here's an uptempo thing I was writing when I first got the Waterloo, 'Bat's Bounce'. Pardon the iPhone oscillations......

Wish I could afford this, I would visit my old neighborhood in Huntington Station and buy it! (grew up on E. 17th Street)

And the chance to meet a legend! Excuse the fan girl behavior.

Default New frets?

I've got a Waterloo just like yours. I put Santa Cruz parabolic strings on it and I really like the sound improvement.
Can you tell me about why you changed the fret wires please? I'd like to learn more.
Thanks

Large fret wire is easier to play because there’s hardly any fingertip contact with the fingerboard. I have very little, if any, callous buildup because of this.

It’s NOT good for players with a death-grip.

Howard Emerson
