I just got my own Frank's Cranks and love it. Yeah, expensive, but a really nice quality tool. I was curious about the construction and stumbled upon a forum post where he details the process of machining the parts in his own shop. Mine is a curly maple version of a medium - love it. For those that don't know, the handle is angled in a little so that your wrist has a happy time spinning around.
