Weird Courier Question
I am shipping a guitar from Canada to the US, and the courier left a message asking if the guitar had any animal parts, like bone, pearl, ivory or such and also if the guitar was (paraphrasing) constructed with a plywood or laminate, something that was glued together. I can understand the animal parts, but does anyone know what the deal was with laminate?

Could there be some prohibition regarding certain glues? When you find out would you let us know?

Maybe they have been burned in the past by Customs because of a BRW peg head veneer? Most of us might miss something like that, even among guitar geeks. It certainly is worth asking the courier service for more detail. My Rainsong WS-1000 (for example) is all man-made materials, except possibly for the MOP shark inlays and abalone rosette.
