I was waiting for COVID to start spreading over the Internet. Based on this I think it might have started

I just knew that this whole COVID-19 situation would bring about great deals. I wonder how many rolls of toilet paper I could trade for it? Probably 4 or 5 ought to do it.

Well, mistakes like these can go either way.

Back in 2014 or so a big local music store had a new limited edition Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway for pre-order on its website. They were selling it for 1200 euros but I knew it should have been 2100 euros, since that was the retail price anywhere else in Europe.
I was not really looking for a Les Paul at the time but I thought: "Why not? Let's see what happens. And if I don't like the guitar I can always sell it at a profit."
As it turned out I did like that guitar and it is now my go to electric.

So.... does anyone own one of these? And what I'd really like to know is how it compares to the comparable RainSong....

The Rainsong appears to be less expensive.

In 2015, I bought a used 2013 Composite Acoustics Legacy RAW (Peavey-made CA) locally for $1100, and kept it for a day or so. It sounded wonderful and was in excellent shape. I returned it because there was a slight swale (dip) in the fingerboard at around the 12th fret, and also the molded case had a mismatched seam where the lid's "ring of death" met the plastic molded lid.

If the price of the new CA Legacy RAW in the link to the store is actually reduced to $1399, it would be a pretty good deal.

Yeah, but the real selling feature: it is in stock! And at that price, they'll probably throw in the shipping.

A deal that good, I would definitely expect to pay shipping.
