Default NGD, first modded guitar

The price of the T3 came down enough and I liked my T3/B enough that I decided to consider a 2nd T3/B, but with different pickups. Ordered some Lollartrons and picked up the T3/B during the Taylor Road Show. The tech quickly discovered that the Lollars weren't compatible with any of the electronics and I'd need to get all new wiring, pots, switch, jack, etc. Also added a Stellartone, which was really cool.

Overall, very pleased with this guitar. I miss the Taylor tone circuit, but the Stellartone is plenty nice. The guitar itself plays really nice and I might drop the action a hair. Wife kinda "reorganized" my favorite screwdriver set. ...and look at that flame!

Congrats. I'm a huge fan of filtertron style pickups. How do the lollars compare to TV Jones?

I haven't played the TV Jones before. Clips seemed to indicate that the Lollars were a little more compressed and had thicker lows. The TV Jones seemed to be less compressed and have more highs.

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm actually really starting to like this one. The Lollartrons can almost get a Tele bridge sound. It's a little fatter and significantly louder than a regular single coil.
