Adding electronics to a CA Cargo travel guitar
I have ordered a CA cargo travel guitar w/o the electronics. Why, you might ask? I was able to save about $200 and was not that impressed with its electronics.
1. If I were to add electronics, what do you think would be the best match for this guitar? 2. Is this a DIY (Do It Yourself) project? 3. If so, is there a video or instruction guide that you might recommend? Peace, Rip |

Agreed . . . . . I don't now how you could ever add the electronics later.

I guess you could use a soundboard transducer ... like below
http://elderly.com/new_instruments/items/SH2000.htm or (although it's a LOT more $$$) http://guitaradoptions.com/store/pro...roductid=17853

Well, CA is able to add it so I assume it can be done aftermarket too - unless CA installs the transducer before the top goes on.

Good point ... I'm sure (pretty sure) there's a way to install a variety of pickups ... but it may be a job for a pro.
