Recording Buzz
Hey Guys, I recently have been experimenting with some new recording setups with mic positions and preamps and such. I recorded this DADGAD ryhthm track yesterday but I didn't notice but there's an incredibly annoying buzz in the background, I can't seem to EQ it out and I've checked all my equipment and everything seems to be working fine.
Here's the track, can anyone help me get rid of it? Or give me an idea as to what it might be? http://www.box.net/shared/hpcyc4mrp8 |

Sounds like a ground loop.

If you're recording on a laptop, and it is a ground loop, then try running the laptop off batteries rather than mains power when recording. If this solves the problem you can most likely get rid of it on mains power by using a ground loop isolator.
