Default "slow down" software

I've seen a couple of ads for software that will slow down a CD to 1/2 speed or even slower, so you can figure out just how Leo Kottke is making that transition. Problem is, all the ads I've seen have been for PC only. Does anyone know if such an application exists for the Mac?

"The Amazing Slow Downer" http://www.ronimusic.com
"Transkriber" http://www.acutab.com/transkriber.html
"Transcribe" http://www.seventhstring.demon.co.uk/xscribe/index.html

All are available for macs. I've tried Amazing Slow Downer and Transcribe on my PC and it they're both good. Amazing Slow Downer is a very small download.

Have fun

There are also hardware solutions. The Boss BR-532 4-track digital recorder has a "Trainer" feature to slow down to half speed a portion of any recorded source. Sabine has a product called "Phrase Trainer" that can record up to 30 seconds of audio, and replay at one of the 4 selectable speed without affecting the pitch. It's a lot less expensive than the BR-532, but it is a more limited tool.

The BR-8 will do it too. Ya just have to copy the song onto a zip disk and then load it into the recorder.

Being a rank amateur, I'm more interested in software solutions - but thanks to all who replied!

FYI, for anyone who's interested, my husband downloaded Transcribe for Macintosh OS9X today and immediately used it to figure out a riff from "After Midnight." He said it's very easy to use. I plan to download it for OS-9.
