2017 Collings D2H Torrefied (Baked) Sitka Spruce & Rosewood 1 3/4" & Collings Case
SOLD SOLD SOLD
This one needs no introduction - a Collings D2H with a torrefied (baked) sitka spruce top and a stunning E.I. Rosewood back and sides. This is the ideal example of a dreadnought and is a standard build D2H with the addition of the baked top and a 1 3/4" nut. Made in 2017 and lived most of its life in it's case in the closet. The torrefied top really brings this guitar to life - balanced and powerful. Loves to be driven hard or flatpicked. This may be the loudest guitar I've ever owned. Condition is MINT. no marks, dings or fretwear. Maybe a light line or finish swirly on the back, but you'd be hard pressed to tell this one from new. A huge bonus is that this one comes with the handmade Collings case. Perhaps the best case out there it is protective, plush, and light. They don't distribute these with guitars anymore and the only way to get one is to pay $995. Looking for $3500 plus actual shipping costs. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
