Stephen Kinnaird Sea Life OM for Miami Guitars
Here is our second of the two Adirondack Spruce/Quilted Maple guitars that we built for AGF sponsor Miami Guitars. It is an OM model with an eye-catching blue to green "surf" burst on the back and sides. The peghead and fretboard are decorated with an intricate sea theme design and inlaid by Craig Lavin. The rosette and top purfling is matching blue-green paua. We hope you enjoy the video and the pictures.
Thanks for looking! |

Wow--what a one-of-a-kind instrument! The burst, the inlays, the woods, and the execution all complement the theme wonderfully.
Love the appropriately themed music as well... Well done!

Thanks Nemoman. I put Steve on the spot and said he should play it about 20 minutes before we had to film. So his arrangement is not only off the top of his head but under a time crunch. Not something I could do in a million years.

That's pretty wild - a nod to the Taylor Living Jewels (or one of those LTD editions from the 90's)
You guys never cease to amaze....

That quilted maple is perfect for that color scheme - it looks just like ripples in sea water! Beautiful work all around.

It is stunning, but let's not forget the sound that is coming out of this masterpiece. I hope that is not forgotten because of the visuals, that sounded amazing fellas!
