Default Blazer & Henkes Brazilian RW Southern Jumbo PRICE DROP

Designed after Willi’s ‘43 Gibson rosewood Southern Jumbo, this is one of the best nonvintage guitars I have played but I am selling about half my guitars for financial reasons(building a house and having a baby). There are a few small impressions on the top and at the base of the headstock and a mild amount of fret wear bc it has been played a lot but it doesn’t need a thing and sounds wide open with really responsive musical tone while retaining that Gibson bark. Setup is perfect with 3/32” and 2/32” action and plays with absolute ease. 1 3/4” nut and 24.75” scale. Dark straight grain Brazilian rosewood back and sides. No modifications outside of an extra saddle made by the prior owner to swap out for different action if needed.

Priced like a used B&H D-28 but you’re not going to find another one of these. Traded.

Beautiful book-matched rosewood. You don't see many B & H guitars on the secondary market. There's a reason for that. GLWS

Default they are indeed superb

and if life didn't throw a curveball at me i wouldn't be selling it. i believe they have only made one other like this since this one was made and it's in Europe.

instead of a 25k rosewood Gibson Southern Jumbo you can get this one for 60% less and i'd bet this one sounds better!!

As the former owner of this guitar, and also a $25k Braz vintage Gibson, I can assure you the Blazer sounds way better. Plus the build quality is as good as it gets.

pcf is a great guy to deal with, buy with confidence.

I appreciate the nice compliment. I didn’t know you have an AJ, RW Southern Jumbo or Radio Grande! (Those are the only ones I can think of in that neighborhood.). I’m really hoping my 36 Jumbo will sell so I can keep this. I was so impressed with this guitar I ordered a 37 style D-18 from B&H that’s due in 2021. I’d cancel that order now and just keep this but I can’t do that so other stuff has to go. Hope all is well!

Yes, I had a 1938 Gibson AJ Braz/Adi at the same time and the Blazer sounded better, and at a fraction of the cost.

Blazer and Henkes make exceptional instruments. Bought one on secondary market. Commissioned one. Both outstanding.

Apologies if this derails thread, but perhaps just a free bump. I have D-18 burst and OM-28.
