Hey Derek,

Very nice. It has a stride guitar type feel and a more modern section that sounds extremely familiar. Your timing on this piece is spot on.
I find it interesting how many tunes come out of players working on “exercises.”
Well done.

Mark

Now that's a fetching and fun sounding tune to consider. I use a lot of thumb-nastics and am always seeking new dynamics. Well played and thanks for posting.

Hey Derek,
Thanks for posting this recording; I enjoyed it. You covered all the bases; composition, playing, and recording.

What guitar did you use on the this? I'm assuming not the Blanchard.

Was it recorded with your Gefells and your NPNG?

Thanks Chuck. It was the Blanchard

Not the best mike positioning on this one. I prefer a bit more clarity.
Used Gefell M295 mikes, NPNG preamp, Mytek Stereo 96 ADC, a bit with Fab Filter Pro Q and with Waves Renaissance R-Verb.
