Absolutely. The original question contained a concept that doesn't make hygenic sense to me.

Now I understand where "sinker" wood really comes from.
And why Water-loo is the guitar to get for true GAS relief.
You're welcome.

As annoyed as some of you are about the lack of "hygiene" you sure are keeping the thread going.

Excuse me, I hear nature calling. Now where's that guitar...

Scott Sturgeon has a new album coming out later this year called "Porcelain Diaries", because apparently he used to play (still does?) while sitting on the throne.

I recently tried this and I was amazed to find that I could do a one man band duet of guitar and tuba!

Well let's be clear. He's standing, and not on the pot.

By the time I have one for sale you'll have forgotten all about this thread.

I only own one at the preset time a Martin Sc-13e, and I won't be getting rid of it soon. I gave my only other guitar away to a brother-in-law. Can't honestly say I tried it in the bathroom.

Then I flush it all away again..."

"Sittin' on the pot all day, watchin' my time roll away,
Sittin' on the pot all day, wastin' time..."

Take it from there, boys and girls...

I wonder how may songs have been written sitting on the pot? Probably not many but I'll bet a few!

Au contraire! ThereÂ’s no such thing as Too Much information. ThatÂ’s what the internet is for. It is the beginning of a new chapter in human evolution. WeÂ’ve become a hive mind enabled species almost. And the butterfly effect is always in play. Who knows what strange topic or sentence will lead to an idea or to x to x to x to The Cure for aids or some great song that people love and sing for generations or cold fusion. The world is vast and strange, take advantage I say.

To the topic at hand...IÂ’m not sure how all you others take care of business but the only thing I touch, prior to The Final Act, is my belt buckle/button or whatever. My hands are in the same state sitting on the throne as they are any other time of day or night.

Prior to any sort of cleansing activity, the guitar is leaned against the wall. Then the first stop is to the sink. My guitar is safe and clean as ever.
