Default The Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase 2018: Who's Going?

We are now less than four months out from the 10th annual Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase on October 26-28.

http://www.woodstockinvitational.com/index.shtml

This is always a great event and I expect this year the 10th anniversary to a fantastic show. The show organizers have a theme for the 10th anniversary show:
“This year, for the 10th annual Showcase, we're doing something a little different, and we hope very special: featuring as many women luthiers of note from around the world as we can attract, and a preponderance of women performing artists and clinic instructors. Men are still allowed.”

I believe that the show is taking a “break” in 2019 so the next show is planned for 2020, so don’t miss this one...Aside from 54 custom luthiers from the USA, Canada, Europe & Asia (list below) there will be a variety of show sponsors, vendors, instructional clinics and musical performances.

I am planning on attending, who else on AGF is attending this year?

Man, I really REALLY want to go this year. All my favorites are at that show. Maybe I should look at getting a cheap Southwest flight. Where does one fly into?

I told to Juston to come to say "Hi", but he passed on that... I told him it was the biggest mistake he could make, but he didn't listened to me

I'm happy to report that I'll be there. It will be great to meet the agf members who will be attending. I have another reason to be excited about which I'll be sharing with you all soon.

For anyone that is going, take advantage of southwest's sale that is ending tonight. I scored a round trip ticket to laguardia for only $200!

I hope to be there again too. There’s something very special about the vibe there - it’s almost like time traveling back to 1973.
