Default How to get wall scuffs off guitar?

I have my Taylor hanging on the wall, and it has some white paint scuffs from gently rubbing the wall. Is there any trick to get this off?

Polishing compound. My favorite is Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, but toothpaste will work.
If the guitar has a satin finish, it will get shiny from polishing.

I like Meguiars Show Car Glaze. It's very mild.

naptha and a soft lint free cloth will clean it up without rubbing or abrasion.

Thanks for the tip. Toothpaste brought it off very easily.

I would try Naptha first before you go the compound route. I do a lot of cleaning with naptha and a cotton rag. All the products suggested are great but I always start with Naptha.

These are good solutions as asked for by the OP. The real question is how does the OP not get the scuffs on the guitar? Without solving that problem the scuffs will continue to happen.

I suspect that guitars wouldn't get marked up by wall scuffs if the walls looked like the insides of guitar cases....
