Casino evolving nicely
I took out the screws of the stark white reissue Bikini headstock logo (pressed thin metal painted), filled the holes touched up and polished the headstock. Then I carefully placed on the vintage Bikini badge (Brass with enamel logo) and drilled for the original crown head nails.
I ambered the white button knobs and nut to match the ambered vintage logo and Binding on the guitar. I hit the high frets and then level, crowned and polished the whole board. Re-set up the pickup height and removed the reissue bridge. I polished up an original Epiphone Tailpiece and fitted it to the guitar (much sleeker, and much better quality) a little Fret doctor on the board to clean up from work done. I strung her up and it really looks great now and feels and sounds so much better. The flash of the camera is whiting out the ambering done but you can still see the transformation of the guitar. It is the same guitar just looks different with the flash. That's a brand new TKL 8855 case. Now on to the other Casino which is getting a Bigsby.

Beautiful! What do you use to amber things? I'd like to do this on my J-100 -- it looks great except for the bright white tuning buttons.

It looks fantastic, '35! Is this a personal project or do you plan to sell?
