Default UV Lights and Guitar Tops

Anyone use a UV light on a newer guitar top to darken/age it?

If so, what was your process and results?
If not, why not and what caveats might there be?

I saw this post from not long back and it got me thinking:

I was messaging with another member a few months back who used the same UV light I used in the thread you referenced. He used it to remove a pick guard tan line then took the mask off and exposed the whole top. It worked pretty well for him. And it doesn’t have to take away from your playing time. Just turn the light on it at night. Might take a couple weeks depending on how much change you’re looking for.
