Hi,
Yep, that's what I thought, too. Eastman told me there were about 525 made worldwide, and they're currently out of production. The SB and the hog look stunning. Mine is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday.
Thank you for your feedback!

While the body dimensions of the AC308CE-LTD are similar to an OM, it is actually shaped like a Grand Concert (GC). So a slightly scaled down Grand Auditorium shaped guitar.

Based on Eastman's current solid guitar series, my hunch is the 308 is in the AC lineup because it has a cutaway and electronics, whereas the OM sized and shaped guitars in the Traditional series are without cutaway and electronics.

That would be my thought, as well.
My initial impressions are positive. I'm waiting until Tuesday to get it back from my luthier friend. Then I'll see, post-setup, what it can do.
Thank you for your feedback!

I'm surprised it needed any setup. Eastmans usually come very well dialed in.

I’m mulling over whether to make this my second Eastman purchase. I love my all mahogany E10-OO! I tend towards the warmer, less bright sound, but I don’t want my next guitar to sound too similar so don’t mind a slightly brighter sound. I’ve watched all YouTube vids I can and on one it did sound a bit too bright on the bass - too twangy(?). On other videos I didn’t notice this so much, though. Normally I’d try them out but the local shop I bought the e-10 from doesn’t have models I’m interested in in stock atm.

Of course the guitar sound will change over time being spruce top… 🧐

After reading lots of stuff about Eastman, on here and elsewhere, I bought an AC222ce a couple of weeks ago and I`ve just returned it.
Issues with it:
1) The finish was awful, especially around the neck joint. It looked like they sprayed the finish on top of loads of dust and the neck it self had loads of overspray which left a rough finish
2) Intonation was way of, especially on the 3,4,5 and 6 strings.

I guess I just got a bad one but disappointing.

Bought the exact same guitar last year. Loved everything about it except the enormous weight. My wife didnt like the sound, but she compared it to my dreadnought. Told her this is a different size with a different sound, but still she didnt like it. My loss, i guess. Had to return it.

Congrats! I’ve been tempted by their ac108ce-ltd , a limited addition with Adirondack top. And I really want to try one of their 00s.
