Mostly a strummer you say ... then it's gotta be a maple jumbo.

If you can't find a Gibson SJ-200 or Guild F-55 Maple or Taylor 618 in your budget then the good looking Eastman AC630 pictured below might be worth looking at.

Thanks, everyone, for the great suggestions. You've all given me some new ideas, and that's what I was looking for. I will check out Fuller's in Houston and maybe take a road trip to Guitar Tex in San Antonio or Austin Vintage Guitars. I want this next guitar to be a keeper, so I will take my time and look for one that really speaks to me.

Default hmmm...

IMHO you're a perfect candidate to adopt a J45. Don't miss out on the experience!!!

Default What should my next guitar be?

There’s an H&D MJC in Koa at Austin Vintage that blew me and my buddy away….and we had just left the BIG custom luthier show so were incredibly spoiled. Be sure to hit Guitar Resurrection if in Austin. Guitar Sanctuary in the Dallas area has some beauties as well. Good luck!

Yeah have to say Guild . Thing is if buy one take it home then say it’s not doing doing for me and sell it .

It won’t be long before the little voice in your head starts saying ya know something about that Guild just has me constantly thinking about it . You start to wonder if you sold it to soon and now want it back ! Lol [emoji23]
