Default Sycamore and old sitka build finished!

I've built with macassar, ziricote, grenadillo, bubinga and many sets of EIR, but this is the first build I've done with a lighter wood, and I have to say I'm impressed. Warm and sparkly at the same time. I'm excited by my next mahogany build.

Wow, that came out just great. I told you before how much I liked the "live edge" work around the rosette and the endplate inlay. I also like the headstock look and even more so the whole wood inlay around the rosette how it flows up to the top into the cutouts and then the wood inlay on the end of the fretboard. That whole complex is really artistic and unique! Fantastic.

Yes really like the detail as well as the overall look of this guitar. The sycamore looks stunning as well. Any chance to get an idea how it sounds?

NICE! I love the 335-ish double cutaway, the way the **** flows with the rosette, the generally contoured lines and the burled elements. Looks fantastic!

Thanks for all the kind words! Here's a short video with audio from camera. I'm just a couch player, so please forgive.

Here are some renders of the 3d model I made before i began this guitar. As much as I tried to envision all the intricacies before I started cutting wood, nothing like actually building to start incubating some design improvements for the next one.
