Default shure mv88+ vs AKG Lyra

I used mv88+ 3years and then, I bought a new AKG Lyra on this sale in Amazone.

Lyra is cheaper but big enough. What's batter? I recorded.

I like the MV88 sound quite a bit more.

At first blush there's a big fat fullness to the AKG, but it sounds like there's something 'loose', a "bassy rattling" for lack of a better description.

It also sounds, in general, as if you had both of them pointed at the sound hole, which is never a good thing to start with, but given what you've offered I'd pick the Shure MV88.

Best,
Howard Emerson
