The "Classic Vibe" Squier Teles and Strats are excellent guitars! The basic Squier models are also miles ahead of the guitars that used to show up in the lower price ranges.

Actually, I have one of each…a CV Strat, and a Bullet Tele. Once I got the Bullet set up and restrung, I seem to prefer it over the CV. At less than half the price. These things are really amazing.
