Default SOLD 1971 Martin D-18

I have for sale a 1971 Martin D-18 in great shape…for a 50 year old well-loved and well-played guitar! I bought this from Emerald City Guitars while in Seattle a while back and have loved this thing. It is such a great playing and sounding guitar with tons of mojo, volume, and tone. It was recently professionally set up with a neck reset by M. Tossman. It comes with a Baggs Lyric pickup, so it sounds really great plugged in also. It comes in a 70’s blue Martin case, which has a busted latch on it. The guitar is in great shape, but does have quite a few bumps and bruises. Noticeably, the “Martin crack” on the top…and all of the wear of a guitar that was someone’s favorite guitar for decades.

I’m asking SOLD pped and shipped.

Here are a few videos of me playing this guitar:

Have you sold this Trey? Would you take a trade?

Hey! It isn’t sold yet….and I’m probably just needing to sell (unless you have an Iris AB or ND-200 with a 1-3/4” nut width), but I might be tempted by other things…

You make any guitar sound fantastic.

I saw your and Rob open up for Tommy E in NJ a few years back. Your skills have not regressed. That guitar won’t last long. It would be mine if the stars aligned a bit different. Good luck.

Ahhh thank you very much…I sure do appreciate the kind words!

Funnily enough, I just played a show with Tommy a few weeks back in Atlanta and used this guitar. He seemed like he really dug it too when he picked on it a bit backstage. Tommy’s the best…

Thanks again!!

Wow Trey, I had no idea you were a member here. Just popped in to say how much I love your flatpicking. I've seen plenty of your videos -- you're incredibly talented.

GLWS!

Trey, I saw a video on one of my social media accounts a couple days ago; you and Tommy E. You’re a PRO. I admire your playing. I had no idea you were an AGF member! Amazing guitar. I just bought a D-18, otherwise I really would’ve considered snagging the one you’re selling. It won’t last long on here.

Just popped by to say - love the ‘you are
my flower’ tune. I recently acquired a very nice 1975 D-18 - fantastic guitar. Are those Nickels you’re playing with?

Thank y’all so much for the kind words! I sure do appreciate that!!

Yeah, I’m using Nickel Bronze D’Addarios on pretty much every guitar now…have been since I first tried the NB’s. I love them! (I use medium gauge, by the way)

Guitar is still available!
