Default I did it! And it makes guitar sounds to boot! (Pics inside)

Super happy that this worked out. It feels very satisfying to have something like this that I've made myself.

Cedar top
Quilted Maple b/s
Curly maple fingerboard
Walnut binding, neck, headstock etc.

Nice work! Now the building journey really begins. Your right, nothing like playing a guitar you made yourself..

Pretty. Love the maple leaf, the shape of the end of the fingerboard near the soundhole. Now how about a link to some playing?

I don't really have the recording facilities to do anything good right now that does it justice. I have a crappy recording on my phone, but recording equipment is in the future.

I'm going to try to find something a little better to record and really show the tone of this beast

Great job!!!
There is nothing like looking at the first guitar you’ve built and realizing it was you that changed wood into music making.

Ahhhhh!!....it's great! It'll probably still be making music 100 years from now.
