Ive found a HUGE improvement in vocals running though a TC Helicon R1 and into the Mini. The preamp in that pedal really warms up the tone, even with the verb off. Some of their other vocal pedals would probably do the same.

I have used a TC Helicon Mic Mechanic V2 and a Boss VE2, and I agree that they both really help with vocal tone. I'm currently using the Boss VE2 so I can add in harmonies. I think the TC might be slightly better at sweetening vocals, but not by much.

Question What about electric guitars with the Fishman Loudmouth Mini?

I don't currently own an electric guitar but I'm planning to get one at some stage in the future.

I have seen it said a couple of times that electrics sound fine with the Fishman Loudmouth Mini. Can anyone verify?

When I do buy an electric I have an Epiphone Casino at the top of the list, maybe a stat as well, maybe?

Rocker Duck,
I'm also considering the mini or the artist model. One of the reasons for the artist was the loop channel on the back of the amp. If I'm reading you right, I can put a looper in between the guitar and the guitar input on the mini, and achieve the same effect, that is the loop playing downstream of the looper (the out side of the loop device) and my guitar playing on the same channel in parralel, in effect going through the looper box without interfering with the looper signal?
True or False? If true, you just saved me some money.

My Epiphone Dot sounds fine through my Mini - either straight in or with just a little dirt from a multi effects pedal.
