Well they do have a version of the SE510 with matching screw-holes (there are 3 versions - the difference is screw-hole position) but they are not a direct drop-in replacement. The major difference is the self-center guide, an extra piece at the base of the string post that reduces friction. The SE510, unlike the Waverlys, doesn't need a counterbored peg hole so you would need to use a 11/32" (approx 8.7mm) drill to make room for the SE510. (Also, the screws are 2mm longer.)

A regular SE780 would be a more direct replacement, but even still I think the measurements are slightly different. As well, the SE510 is smoother and more durable.

Speaking of important things to mention... The first week of May is called Golden Week in Japan. It's such a popular time for taking holidays that many companies shut down completely.

I just wanted to let people know that this will affect our ordering times. Normally we have a 1-2 week turnaround time but right now it's more like 3 weeks.

Anyone living on the west coast of North America or in Hawaii - expect to see lots of Japanese tourists at that time.
